Concorso Homebrewers 2012

La birra a concorso non deve essere già stata presentata ad altra analoga manifestazione.

L’indicazione dello stile di riferimento (o degli ingredienti caratterizzanti) della birra presentata è obbligatoria, al fine di permettere alla giuria l’ordine di degustazione più opportuno.

Data di preparazione delle birre
Qualsiasi.

Numero birre iscritte
Sino al raggiungimento del numero di 30 iscritti, ogni concorrente potrà iscrivere sino a DUE birre al concorso. Oltre i 30, sarà accettata UNA sola birra per concorrente.

I concorrenti sono comunque invitati a portare altre proprie produzioni per realizzare – durante il lavoro della giuria – scambi di idee e suggerimenti con gli altri partecipanti.

Contest beer styles
Traditional belgian beer styles will be accepted as entries to the contest.

The beers shall not be presented to previous beer contests.

Indication of beer reference style (or characterizing ingredients) is compulsory in order to allow the jury to best evaluate the product.

Date of beer preparation
Any.

Number of beers listed
Until we reach the number of 30 entries, each contestant may enter up to two beers in the competition.Over 30 entries, we will accept ONE beer per competitor.

Competitors are invited to bring their productions to Bibbiano to share beer and ideas with other participants.

Tipo delle bottiglie
Qualsiasi bottiglia, con etichetta ufficiale ma senza segni particolari di riconoscimento. L’etichetta apposita con il numero di iscrizione e lo stile della birra, sarà inviata via email al concorrente alla chiusura delle iscrizioni; dovrà essere compilata ed apposta a cura del concorrente, sulla bottiglia stessa, dovrà essere incollata o coperta da nastro adesivo trasparente per tutta la sua dimensione. NON SARANNO ACCETTATE BOTTIGLIE SENZA SCHEDA DI ISCRIZIONE, E NEPPURE KEGS

Quantity
Two bottles containing a minimum quantity of 50 cl each are required. ONLY ONE of these will be opened at the first tasting round; the second one will be opened at the final tasting round, if needed. Bottles with different sizes will be allowed, with at least 1 liter of total quantity, divided in two bottles.

Type of bottles
Any bottle is allowed, with the official contest label on it and no other signes on it. The label and the entry number will be sent by email at the  closing entry date; label shall be filled with entry number, beer style and glued or taped to the bottles. BOTTLES WITHOUR OFFICIAL LABEL WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. KEGS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED

Costo dell’iscrizione
La quota di iscrizione è di 5 € per i soci MoBI e 10 € per i non soci per birra iscritta e dovrà essere versata il 9 settembre con la consegna della birra al concorso.

Proclamazione dei vincitori
Il punteggio delle schede della giuria determinerà i vincitori del concorso, a prescindere dal fatto che abbiano presentato una o più birre.

Premi
PRIMO PREMIO: due giorni (x 2persone) al B&B Cortewyle di Watou da usufruire entro il 31 marzo 2013.

How to entry
It is required to fill the online application forms.
Beer recipe is required. APPLICATIONS WITH NO BEER RECIPE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
Best beer recipes will be published on hobbybirra website.

Registration deadline
Thursday August 30th, 2012.

Registration fee
Registration fee is 5 € for MoBI membres and 10 € for non members for each beer entry. Registration fee shall be paid onsite with beer delivery.

Winners
The contest jury will determine the winners, regardless of whether they have submitted one or more beers..

Prizes
FIRST PRIZE: two days (2 persons) at B&B Cortewyle in Watou valid until Mar. 31st, 2013.

Scheda di valutazione
Elaborazione totalmente affidata a Kuaska e alla giuria, i quali hanno adottato una scheda di valutazione con votazione finale in cinquantesimi.

Ordine di degustazione
Lasciato alla scelta della giuria.

Modalità della degustazione
Le birre in degustazione, accompagnate dall’indicazione dello stile di riferimento, saranno sottoposte al vaglio della giuria che lavorerà in solitudine. Questa procederà alla compilazione della propria scheda di valutazione.

Evaluation card
Maximum score of the evaluation card is 50 points.

Tasting work
Beer will be tasted individually by the judges. Only given information are: beer style, OG and any peculiar ingredient.
