On the 20th and 21st of October we will celebrate the first edition of the Villaggio della Birra edition Barcelona, a festival dedicated to quality craft beer. The event will take place at the Almogàver Brewery. The joint collaboration of Villaggio della Birra, Lambicus Bar, Beerbox, and Almogàver Brewery presents breweries, that we think, are working on expanding the culture and quality of the artisanal production of the beer worldwide. Breweries and brewers that, upon anything else, made us know and feel their profound humanity, throughout all those years. We will present you 13 European Breweries that have one thing in common: their garanteed quality of artisanal beer production. All of that isn't all of what we care about! So, as usual, the Villaggio #isntjustafestival, and we will have: street food, live music, a homebrewer contest and a tasting room!
The event will be hosted by Almogàver Brewery in Carrer de Binèfar, 19. Easily accessible by public transport.
Metro La Pau L2 purple line & L4 yellow line.

Village of the Beer is an all-round, 360° experience - meaning space for homebrewers, for a beershop, for gastronomical stalls, live music and artistic exhibitions. For your baby FREE Baby Parking in the garden of Villaggio!
The "Villaggio della Birra" (Beer Village) started in 2006 designed to juxtapose, in a "special" location and (provocatively) in the middle of a wine growing region, the brewing industry of two countries, Belgium and Italy, the former the emblem of centuries-old tradition, and the latter one of the most important exponents of the "rebirth" of craft beer in Europe. Now it has expanded to be a more international event with brewers from many countries. The Barcelona edition will invite 3 Belgian, 3 Italian, 3 English and 4 Catalan breweries.
Saturday 20 October - noon -> 1am
Sunday 21 October - noon -> 9pm
The formula, for the visitor, is always the same: you buy the glass in glass and tokens for tasting to "to advance" in this fantastic and often surprising brewing journey.
